3 original chocolate recipes for the whole family

What are you going to try this Easter weekend? Hervé Palmieri, known as Hervé Cuisine, videographer and culinary author (100% chocolate cracked) reveals his recipes to please you and your family.

If you are buying chocolate for easter in trade, in this “period of bacteriological psychosis”, as Flavi Flaman describes it, Hervé Cuisine recommends buying “chocolate bars, organic or fair trade”.

White chocolate has twice the sugar of chocolate like dark chocolate,” Hervé Cuisine continues. “Of course, they say that dark chocolate is healthier. It has less sugar, have healthier ingredients for the body, while with white chocolate we enjoy texture more,” concludes Hervé Cuisine.

1. Chocolate sausage

For this recipe, you will need 200 g milk chocolate for baking, 100 g shortbread cookies, 40 g butter, 1 egg, 1 cup mini marshmallows (or large marshmallows, cut into pieces), and half a cup of roasted hazelnuts and 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar.

Gently melt the chocolate and butter in a bain-marie, then let cool for a few minutes. Add egg and beat well from the center to emulsify the preparation.

Add mini marshmallows, whole hazelnuts and crushed biscuits. We spread the workpiece on cling film, roll it into a tight sausage and refrigerate for at least 8 hours. Unwrap the sausage and roll it in powdered sugar before slicing.

2. Chocolate zucchini brownie

You will need 1 good zucchini (200 g grated zucchini without liquid), 200 g dark chocolate for baking, 80 g sugar, 4 eggs and 50 g crushed toasted hazelnuts. The recipe also includes 40 g flour, 20 g unsweetened cocoa powder, 1 teaspoon baking powder.
and 1 pinch of herring flower.

Preheat oven to 180°C (floor 6). Rinse and grate the zucchini, then drain well, squeezing them with your hands. You must receive 200 g grated zucchini. Melt the chopped chocolate in a bain-marie or in the microwave, then let cool for a few minutes.

Whisk the eggs and sugar in a bowl, then when the mixture becomes frothy, gradually add chocolate then grated zucchini and mix.

Add dry ingredients (flour, cocoa, baking powder and fleur de sel) and mix gently. Add chopped hazelnuts, then pour into a 20 cm square mold lined with baking paper. Bake 30 min.

3. All-Vegetable Chocolate Almond Fudge

For this cake you will need 300 ml vegetable preparation cooking liquids (coconut, almond, soy, etc.), 200 g dark chocolate for baking 70% and 200 g almond powder. Also plan on 50 grams of cornstarch, half a packet of baking powder, a very ripe banana, a teaspoon of vanilla extract.

Preheat oven to 180°С (tech. 6). Chop the chocolate and set aside in a large bowl. Heat the vegetable preparation with vanilla in a saucepan, then pour it over the chopped chocolate. With a whip emulsify the mixture mixing from the center.

Mix the banana, then add it to the previous preparation. Add dry ingredients: ground almonds, cornstarch and baking powder. Mix well, pour into a greased form with a diameter of 18 cm and bake for 30 minutes. Let it cool down completely before removing the cake.
